Day 4: Tulum to MeridaToday you will take a transfer from Tulum to Merida by Public Bus.
Day 5: Cenotes Underground Snorkel
Experience snorkelling in the unique 'cenotes' (sinkholes) of Yucatan and immerse yourself in the local culture as you spend time in a traditional Mayan village.
Day 6: Chichen Itza Day Trip (Merida)
Learn about the ancient ways of life in this well-preserved Mayan citadel with an English speaking guide. Ponder the disappearance of this archaeological site former inhabitants while you walk around these pre-Hispanic ruins. Recently added to the list of the 7 World Wonders, this is a site you do not want to miss!
Day 7: Merida to PalenqueToday you will take a transfer from Merida to Palenque by Public Bus.
Day 8: Palenque Ruins, Agua Azul & Misol-Ha Waterfalls (Palenque to San Cristobal)
Swim in the refreshing waters of the multi-tiered limestone waterfalls in Agua Azul and take a walk in the nature. At Misol-Ha the river plunges 40 meters over the edge of a cliff offering you the chance to walk in the caves behind the stream. Explore the ancient Maya city of Palenque and climb the pyramids to look out over the lush green jungle setting.
Day 9: Free Day Enjoy your Free Day in San Cristobal de las Casas.
Day 10: Sumidero Canyon Experience
Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring Sumidero Canyon on a boat trip to enjoy the sight of impressive waterfalls, enter mystical caves and see the cliff where Chiapanec Warriors committed suicide instead of being forced to surrender to the Spanish Conquistadores. Pass through the colonial town of Chiapa de Corzo on your way back to San Cristobal.
Day 11: San Cristobal to Puerto EscondidoToday you will take a transfer from San Cristobal to Puerto Escondido by Public Bus.
Day 12: Learn to Surf
Wanna learn how to catch some waves? Take a 2-hour lesson and try your luck at standing up and surfing the perfect wave. Puerto Escondido, world famous for its imposing Mexican Pipeline, is the best place to learn as its coastline offers surf breaks for beginners and professionals alike.
Day 13: Puerto Escondido to OaxacaToday you will take a transfer from Puerto Escondido to Oaxaca by Public Bus.
Day 14: Hierve El Agua, Mitla & Tule Day Trip
Explore the amazing petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua and go for a swim in the natural pools. Visit a gigantic 2,000 year-old tree in Tule and then gaze at beautiful carved stone structures in the Zapotec ruins of Mitla. Learn the process of making woolen rugs by hand in a local village and sip Mezcal, a popular Mexican liquor, at a local factory.
Day 15: Oaxaca to Mexico CityToday you will take a transfer from Oaxaca to Mexico City by Public Bus.
Day 16: Hidden Teotihuacan & Dinner
