Itinerary

Day 1: Isla del Sol, Bolivia

Pick up at your accommodation in La Paz at approximately 7:00 a.m. for a shared bus transfer to the lakeside town of Copacabana.

Arrive around noon just in time for a delicious traditional lunch and a short visit of the church and main plaza, and then take a boat to Isla del Sol (Sun Island) where you will hike to the top of the island on a traditional Inca stairway, the “Escalinatas de Yumandi”.

Pass by the fountain of eternal youth natural spring and drink fresh water from the mountain. As you reach the top of the island, you will be rewarded with spectacular views from either side with the snow-capped Bolivian Andes in the distance.

Have dinner (not included) and get a good night’s rest on this peaceful island in the middle of Lake Titicaca.

Note: Overnight in Isla del Sol is offered either in hostel or eco-lodge (3* and 4* hotels are not available in the area)

Day 2: Copacabana, Peru

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, go on a 2-hour guided walk to reach Pilkokaina Temple.

Take a boat ride back to the Copacabana town for lunch, after which this amazing adventure will come to an end.

 

Day 3: Cuzco, Peru

Enjoy a free day to experience on your own.

Day 4: Cuzco, Peru

At the time of the accommodation checkout, your trip comes to an end.
