Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival our staff will meet you at Marrakech airport (RAK) and transfer you to your hotel in Marrakech for the start of your trip. They’ll help you settle in and introduce you to the local area.

Day 2

Today’s excursion in Marrakech, the city’s second oldest Imperial City, commences in the morning. Our itinerary includes visits to the Menara Gardens, the Saadian Tombs, the iconic Koutoubia Mosque featuring its symbolically significant minaret, the Dar Si Said Museum, and the Bahia Palace showcasing exquisite Arabic artistry. After a lunch break at the hotel, our afternoon is dedicated to exploring the vibrant old city center. This bustling area houses diverse traders, aromatic souqs, and artisan quarters, providing an authentic essence of Morocco. Our tour culminates at Djemaa el-Fna Square, a lively hub bustling with street food vendors, musicians, and performers-an unmissable highlight of Moroccan culture.

Day 3

Following breakfast, we bid farewell to Marrakech and embark on a scenic drive through the High Atlas mountains, passing the Tich’n’Tichka pass. Our stop at UNESCO-protected Ait Benhaddou, famous from many films, precedes our journey to the desert via Ouarzazate and Kalaat Mgouna. The day concludes in Boumalne for an overnight stay, allowing a serene embrace of the desert’s enchantment.

Day 4

Today, departing from Boumalne, our journey unfolds with a visit to the renowned pottery center in Tamegroute village, renowned for its exquisite crafts. As we trace the edges of the desert, we pass through quaint pre-Saharan settlements like Tansikht, Nkob, Tazzarine, and Alnif, each revealing the authentic essence of the region. Later, we proceed toward Erfoud, situated near the iconic Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Experience the dunes’ magic with a thrilling 4×4 drive before returning to your Erfoud accommodation.
Tonight offers two options: a standard stay in an Erfoud hotel with a chance for a sunrise or sunset 4×4 safari to the dunes, or an adventurous evening at a cozy Berber Camp, complete with a sunset 4×4 safari and dinner amidst the dunes’ tranquility.

Day 5

Embark on an early adventure as the day begins. Those nestled in the desert camp can relish an enchanting sunrise with a camel ride or a serene stroll through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Meanwhile, guests at the Erfoud hotel can opt for a 4×4 desert excursion to witness the breathtaking dawn over the dunes.
Post-breakfast, our path leads away from the desert to the captivating Tinjdad Oasis. Continuing our journey, we encounter the awe-inspiring Dades Canyon near Tinghir, with towering rock formations rising about 250 meters. Traverse the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,’ passing through Kalaat Mgouna and the scenic Skoura Valley before reaching Ouarzazate, renowned as the ‘place of no noise.’ This cinematic landscape has been a backdrop for famous films and hosts the prestigious Atlas movie studios. A brief city tour awaits in the afternoon, followed by a delightful dinner at the hotel.

Day 6

Following breakfast, our journey leads us back through the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’tichka col en route to Marrakech. Upon arrival, seize the afternoon to delve deeper into Marrakech’s lively souqs and vibrant bazaars, perfect for indulging in final sightseeing and picking up souvenirs. The day culminates with a delightful evening in Djemaa el-Fna Square, offering a charming end to the trip after a fulfilling dinner at the hotel.
