Day 2: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Today you will embark on an exciting city tour to see the best highlights of the city.

Our day starts with an accommodation pick-up where you will be met by your professional English speaking tour guide. We will make the first stop of the day at the hang gliding landing area at Sao Conrado beach where the hang gliders land after they take off from Pedra Bonita. Admire the incredible views of the mountains from the coast and contemplate making time in your schedule for a paragliding session. From there, the mini-bus will take you to the Tijuca National Park and get a glimpse of the greenest tropical rainforest. This is the best spot to check how nature and urban areas can coexist. See waterfalls, tropical plants, trees and wildlife.

Make a stop for lunch (not included) in Ipanema and transfer to the Christ The Redeemer Statue where you can take as many photos as your heart desires. Visit Santa Teresa, one of the oldest and most traditional neighbourhoods of Rio. See the well preserved original architecture and feel the character of this unique neighbourhood. At the end of your Rio day tour you will see the colourful Lapa steps “Escadaria Selaron”, where Snoop Dogg shot his famous video for Beautiful.

Finally, you will be offered two options. The first option is to be dropped off at the Sugarloaf Mountain where you can hop on the gondola and watch the sunset from the top of the hill (the ticket is not included in the package price) or choose to return to the door of your hotel.

Take advantage of these pristine natural wonders to go for a refreshing swim, snorkel among colourful tropical fish, or sunbathe on a relaxing sandy beach.

Although the exact locations vary for each tour, depending on weather conditions and beach capacity, the tours could pass through the islands of: Comprida, Algodão, Cotia and also the beaches of Praia Vermelha, Praia da Lula, and Saco da Velha among many others.

Day 8: Paraty, Brazil

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in order to take your flight to Foz do Iguacu.

Day 9: Foz do Iguacu, Brazil

Our guides take you to visit the wonderful Iguazu Falls, on the Brazilian side, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the falls.

You will get close to the “Floriano”, “Deodoro” and “Benjamin” waterfalls and the walkways will also lead you to the “Santa Maria Falls”.

Day 10: Foz do Iguacu, Brazil

Today, you will visit the Argentinian Side Falls of the Iguazu Falls National Park and get an indescribable mix of beauty, energy, sounds and images as you witness the power of nature at its best.

Iguazu falls were created approximately 200 thousand years ago by a geological fault where the Iguazu and Parana Rivers come together creating an 80-meter high cascade named “Garganta del Diablo” or “Devil’s Throat”. The falls stretch over 3 kilometres wide making them taller than Niagara Falls in North America and wider than Victoria Falls in Africa. The intensity of the falls produces a permanent fog, where sunbeams form multiple rainbows of incredible beauty.

Start off by walking down around the Circuito Inferior where several bridges take you right up next to the falls where you can stand and be soaked by the spray in seconds. Take the train to the “Devil’s Throat”, main falls where a man-made walkway leads you out over the river to experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of looking down into the Devil’s Throat itself, a 90-meter-high cascade over which 13,000 cubic meters plunge per second.

Taking an optional boat trip (you may purchase this additional activity upon arrival), rafting or hiking in the park is another way to enjoy the day in nature and appreciate the falls from a different perspective. Don’t forget to take your camera, rain gear and sunblock. Bring your own snacks and water to avoid paying high prices in the park. If time allows, you may have a chance to stop at the 3 frontiers overlook point where you can see Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil at the convergence of the Iguazu and Parana Rivers. A blue, green and yellow obelisk represents the national colors of all 3 countries.

After this, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Puerto Iguazu.

Day 11: Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in order to take your flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Day 12: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Embark on a thrilling 3-hour city tour of Buenos Aires. Explore historical sites like “May Square” and San Telmo’s charming streets. Experience the Tango in La Boca, see the Boca Juniors soccer stadium, and witness the modernization around Madero Port. Visit Recoleta and Eva Peron’s resting place in Recoleta Cemetery.

In the evening, savour a special Tango Porteño dinner and show. This show transports you to tango’s golden era in a beautifully preserved venue. Enjoy a refined atmosphere, artistry, and gourmet cuisine. Experience the essence of Buenos Aires, the “City of Tango.” Indulge in a memorable evening with dinner and an incredible performance.

Day 13: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Today you will embark on an exciting bike tour of Buenos Aires, where you will be able to visit its parks, great French style buildings and discover how the elite and influential families helped build the country.

Cycling, you’ll understand why Buenos Aires is referred to as the Paris of South America.

This tour visits the neighbourhoods of San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Retiro, Recoleta and Palermo.

Day 14: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Today, you will be transferred to the airport, where this amazing trip comes to an end.

Hope to see you soon!
