In Baku and other large cities, most of the population speaks Russian, young people also speak English. For tourists are here, as elsewhere in the East and the Caucasus, friendly and hospitable. The country is safe and crime low. ?Weather is changeable in Azerbaijan. In the north and the highlands can be cool, especially at night, so bring warm clothes. During the summer, hot, hats and cream for sun protection is required. You must also carry a headscarf to visit churches and mosques.

Itinerary

Day 1. Baku

Upon arrival at Azerbaijan International Airport our local representative will meet you and you will be transferred to the hotel. After some rest panoramic city tour – visit to Highland Park, National Flag Square, Baku Boulevard. Overnight in Baku.

Day 2. Baku City Tour

Breakfast at hotel. Start sightseeing in the old part of the city – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue with Baku Ferris Wheel (depends on the weather conditions). You will be drop off in Genclik Mall – the biggest in Baku. Overnight in Baku.

Day 3. Baku - Absheron peninsula - Baku

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast proceed for The Temple of Fire worshippers “Ateshgah”in the settlement of Surakhany. Continue to Yanardag (Fire Mountain) – a natural gas fire, which blazes continuously on a hillside on Absheron Peninsula. Later visit Heydar Aliyev Center – photo session from outside. The day finishes with a boat tour in the Caspian Sea. Overnight in Baku.

Day 4. Gobustan Tour

After breakfast at hotel, the tour will take you to Gobustan in order to see the famous petroglyphs. The area has been settled since 8th millennium BC. Today it is protected by UNESCO. Return back to Baku to visit Bibi-Heybat mosque. Overnight in Baku.

Day 5. Departure

After breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel will be transferred to airport for return journey as per flight scheduled time.
