Your journey continues on towards the nearby farm, where you’ll meet an array of other animals and learn about the traditional Alpine lifestyle. An exciting “Via Ferrata” experience will fill the first half of the day: a thrilling excursion with a mix of hiking and climbing with ladders and cables secured to the rocks. You’ll enjoy stunning landscapes and breathtaking views of the Dolomites in the vicinity of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The next adventure involves a visit to a local dairy, where expert artisans perform their daily magic of turning fresh milk into cheese. You’ll gain an insight into how the taste of the cheese varies across the seasons, influenced by the cows’ natural rhythms, their diet and daily life. Continue your exploration delving into the hidden secrets and intricate processes of this ancient tradition. To conclude, enjoy a delightful tasting session of local, farm-to-table products, all produced in the dairy.

You’ll embark on a breathtaking panoramic hike in the Dolomites along with your hiking guide, surrounded by towering peaks, lush meadows, and crystal-clear Alpine air. It’s a perfect setting for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

The difficulty and length of the hike will vary to suit the weather.

After the hike, you’ll return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Overnight: Dolomites

After breakfast, you’ll complete the check-out procedures. Your personal chauffeur will then take you directly to your accommodation on Lake Como, where you’ll perform check-in procedures upon arrival and have some time to relax.

If you like, a special welcome dinner  can be organised for the family upon arrival in one of the outdoor areas of the hotel.

After breakfast, you will board your private boat, which will be at your service for the day, bound for Lenno.

Together with your personal hiking guide, you’ll make your way on foot to Sacro Monte di Ossuccio (1h30 max), where you can admire the beautiful panorama and the historical buildings. Lunch at leisure in Lenno.

Afterwards, you’ll take your private boat going south along the lakeshores towards Villa del Balbianello. This elegant and romantic mansion estate was built in the 1700s on a spectacular peninsula on the lake and over the centuries it has hosted travellers, writers, and scholars.

You’ll admire the spectacular Italian garden which has been chosen as the setting for international films such as “007 Casino Royale” and “Star Wars, Episode II – Attack of the Clones”.

Return to hotel by private boat and spend the evening relaxing.

Overnight: Como

After breakfast, you will meet your personal chauffeur who will take you to Lake Como.

Here, you can spend a fun-packed morning at your own pace taking in the magnificent landscapes and views of Lake Como from the shoreline and then see the sights and fantastic views of the countryside from the water on your own kayak.

There will be free time in the afternoon and evening to simply enjoy the marvellous setting and facilities of the hotel.

Overnight: Como

After breakfast, you’ll check-out from the hotel and take your private transfer to Milan Railway Station to board on high-speed train – Business Class – to Florence Railway Station.

Upon arrival, you’ll head to Florence city centre and set out on a walking tour to discover the city’s origins as a Roman settlement in Piazza della Repubblica, explore the mediaeval streets and visit the Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo and the famous over the River Arno.

Your walking tour will conclude with a visit to the Accademia to admire Michelangelo’s David and other extraordinary masterpieces.

Afterwards, you’ll continue your journey into the Tuscan countryside to check in at your hotel, where you will find your luggage waiting for you after separate transfer.

You’ll spend the day savouring the mediaeval flavour of Siena. On a walking tour around Piazza Campo, you’ll see the famous Palazzo Comunale, the colourful, marble-clad cathedral and the entrance to the striking Piccolomini library, where you can admire some of the most outstanding art works of Pinturicchio.

Piazza del Campo is one of Italy’s most beautiful squares and plays host to the thrilling bareback horse races, called the Palio di Siena. During the tour, take a stop at a historical café to enjoy a cappuccino and ricciarelli, famous Sienese almond cookies.

After the walking tour, you’ll be welcomed into the historic home of Contessa Constanza Piccolomini d’Aragona, a member of one of Italy’s oldest noble families, with a lineage that includes two popes and the King of Naples and Sicily. In her 11th-century residence, the Contessa will be your personal guide in an authentic cooking class to discover the culinary delicacies of Tuscany. Learn to prepare a traditional lunch, then savour your creations in her elegant dining room, paired with exquisite wines.

Return to hotel by private transfer and relax.

In the morning your driver will accompany you to the walled hilltop town of San Gimignano, a World Heritage Site with 14 picturesque mediaeval towers.
