Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

Our Morocco tour starts today and we will meet you at your hotel in Marrakech.

We pick up you and we start our tour from Marrakech travelling to the Dades Valley via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain Pass and over the High Atlas Mountains.

Today you will enjoy travelling through the fascinating views of the Berber mountains villages. You will enjoy the amazing landscape changing as the day progresses.

We will stop at the Unesco – Ait Benhaddou local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Et-Hami in the late 19th century, it is now a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, which today still houses many Glaoui family members.

We continue to the Dades Gorge through the road of “the Thousand Kasbahs”, which offers many fine photo opportunities of nature and people.

We’ll get to Kalaat M’Gouna -famous for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May, then we drive to the “Dades Valley”. Here you will enjoy seeing the amazing rock formation named as “the monkey toes”.

First day of our private tour from Marrakech finishes and we stay overnight at riad with dinner.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley towards Tinghir and the Todgha valley.

We enjoy the panoramic views of the old Berber villages overlooking the valley. We walk under the 300m high red cliffs. We may hike for 1 hour in the valley; meet locals in their fields and learn about the local culture.

After lunch here, our tour from Marrakech continues to Merzouga via Erfoud.

We drive through the valley of Tafilalet, the largest date palm grove in Morocco.

We will walk in the authentic souk of Rissani, and listen about the trading caravans travelling as far as Tombouctou in Mali.

We reach Merzouga desert in the afternoon and we check in to your riad with dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert and Camel Trekking

After breakfast in hotel we continue tour from Marrakech exploring Merzouga desert.

We will visit the Nomads in their goat hair tent. We learn more about the desert life and we visit the Gnaoua village of Khamlia to listen music of people originally slaves brought from Sudan, Mali and Senegal.

We will ride camels, guided by an experienced camel guide to explore the desert sand of Erg-Chebbi dunes.

We enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert during the sunset. After that we will have Berber dinner in desert camp where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert- Midelt – Azrou -  Fes

Today in the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise in Merzouga desert and then we ride camels back to the village in Merzouga.

After breakfast in hotel we travel to Fes passing Ziz Valley.

We will enjoy the views of amazing landscapes along the way, we pass through the Tizi n’ Talghamt Pass to reach Midelt.

We will have a traditional lunch and we continue through the Middle Atlas mountains and the “Cedar Forest”. Here we can watch the Barbarian apes in the forest.

We will visit city of Ifrane which is named as “the Switzerland of Morocco” because of its architecture.

We continue to Fes, where the tour from Marrakech ends at your accommodation.
