Itinerary

Day 1: Quito - Coca, Ecuador

Today, you’ll be transferred to the bus station where you’ll catch the overnight bus to Coca.

Day 2: Coca - Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador

Upon arrival, you’ll take a canoe ride to the Napo Cultural Centre for a traditional Wayusa drink with members of the Kichwa Añangu community.

In the afternoon, you’ll go on a hike to experience Amazon wildlife for the first time.

Kayaking is an optional activity and the perfect way to enjoy a colourful sunset.

Day 3: Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador

Today you’ll visit the parrot clay lick in the riverside of the Napo River.

You’ll then walk through the forest spotting wildlife, and visit the intercultural interpretation centre Kuri Muyu.

After lunch, you’ll go on another hike to the observation tower.

After dinner, ride an ancestral catamaran to learn more about local legends and traditional chants.

Day 4: Napo Cultural Center, Ecuador

Watch the sunrise and visit sustainable community projects before we hike the Mama Kuna trail.

In the afternoon, paddle around Añangu creek, a black water ecosystem, and prepare for a traditional dinner.

Tonight, we’ll be going on a night walk around the lodge.

Day 5: Napo Cultural Center - Quito, Ecuador

Take part in a optional Wayusada ritual early in the morning, and then make your way back to Quito after breakfast.
